PP prices underwent lean movements in Indian polymer markets
during the week ended on November 30, 2013. Demand continued to remain strong
as full-fledged manufacturing activities were going on in the country.
Buyers purchased actively to cater to their production needs
and also to stock raw material inventories. The majority of buyers preferred
domestic PP rather than the imported polymer.
During the week under consideration, prices of the
Injection Moulding grade of PP moved up by $10 per metric tonne in the South
East Asian region by $10 per metric tonne to $1,527 per metric tonne CFR.
