RIL completes BP Chemicals (Malaysia) acquisition
Oct 04 : Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has officially announced its acquisition of BP Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, which produces 610,000 tonne per annum Purified Terephathalic Acid (PTA), with a cost of $230 million.

Oct 04 : Kingsport-headquartered Eastman Chemical Company (ECC) has launched a new polymer, named as Aspira, based on Poly Ethylene Terephthalate (PET) resin.
