Ensuing Winter Season Weakens LAB Demand in India

Demand for LAB has been slow in Indian markets as off-takes from the surfactant industry have gone down due to the ensuing winter season. Traders preferred to maintain low inventories in view of the weakening demand.

Weak Demand Softens PET Price in Indian Markets

PET prices have declined upto Rs 100 a kg in Indian markets on account of weak demand conditions, which has been due to end-industries slowing down. Traders are also not able to speculate when demand is going to pick up.

Domestic Demand Conditions, International Markets Hint at Downward PET Price Revision

PET trading in Indian markets is on a dull note. Traders do not foresee any strengthening of demand for the raw material in the near term. Prices of the material in the major markets in the country also remained almost stable after the last price reduction by Reliance Industries Limited. Meanwhile, PET prices have been on a downward trajectory in the South East Asian region.The price in the Asian market has gone down due to falling input costs, and demand in the region is also weak.

PVC demand continues to remain soft in India after RIL's downward price revision

PVC buying continued to remain lackluster in Indian markets, even after Reliance Industries Limited lowering its ex-work price. Traders told the website that buyers restricted from purchasing the raw material as production was inactive in the end industries. Moreover, traders also did not foresee any improvement in the buying pattern in the coming days.

Aniline price in Indian markets to stay firm in the near future on dull demand condition

Aniline price is not expected to fluctuate significantly in the next few days due to dull demand condition in Indian chemical markets, sustaining huge inventories or stocks of the chemical.
Traders in the major chemical market told the website that consumption of the chemical by the dye intermediate and rubber chemicals industries have shrinked, resulting in the sluggish demand conditions.
