PE prices in the major polymer markets in India underwent moderate upward movement during the week ended on December 28, 2013. The price movements were due to tight stock situations in most markets in the country.

Buyers continued to prefer the need-based raw material purchase strategy to guard against the uncertain price outlook in the near future.

During the week, there was no influence of any international price movement on PE prices in India.
