Demand for the PET material is strengthening in the major markets in India with the onset of the summer season. Most end-users are also learnt to refill their PET stocks in view of satisfactory demand conditions ahead for their end-products. A trader in the Mumbai market said," Demand for PET has been increasing and it is expected to strengthen further in the coming days."
A PET bottle manufacturer said,"We are stocking the PET raw material as summer season has set in and demand for PET bottles with increase."
In the Mumbai market today, the PET (Bottle Grade) is sold at around Rs 106-107 a kg. Traders as well as buyers do not foresee any notable price fluctuation in the coming days.
