PP prices underwent meager movements, manufacturing activities continued to remain active this week

PP prices underwent meager movements, amid strong demand conditions, in the major polymer markets in India during the week ended on December 7, 2013. Manufacturing activities continued to remain active, resulting in demand for the polymer remaining strong.

During the week, there was no influence of any international prices.

In the South East Asian region, price of the Injection Moulding grade of the PP material went up by $5 per metric tonne to $1,532 per metric tonne.

In the coming week, PP prices are not expected to undergo any major movement, and demand will remain strong.
